Back in 2009, an event revolving around traditional British cycling attire was started by Ted Young-Ing along with organizers London Fixed Gear and Single Speed. Since its inception, the recreational biking occasion dubbed the “Tweed Run” grew significantly and has attracted bikers and enthusiasts alike to follow suit. This time, the Tweed Run will expand its presence to New York on October 15, 2011 in partnership with Rugby Ralph Lauren. This event will raise funds for World Bicycle Relief “whose mission is to provide access to independence and livelihood through the power of bicycles.” Steven Rojas, a social media specialist behind Grand Life Hotels, shares his thoughts and ideas about the art of “TWEEDING” and riding bicycles around the big city. All that and more can be seen on the video presented above.
