Sneakers Magazine recently took a trip out to Scheinfeld, Germany for a private look into the adidas archives. Hiding rare and exclusive pairs of shoes, key finds included soccer boots from the 1954 finals, a 1:1 goal shoe from Germany’s Max Morlock, and every type of sports model imaginable. In addition, the magazine caught up with 69-year-old archivist Karl-Heinz Lang who initiated the archives and helped save a huge portion of the adidas heritage. Lang speaks on working with Adi Dassler and several incredible personal stories from his time at adidas. You can read the full interview in Sneaker Magazine‘s 12th issue coming out this week.
