Danger Mouse and Daniele Luppi's 'Rome' album set to become a film

As Variety points out, music video director Chris Milk is currently working on a feature film inspired by the Danger Mouse/Daniele Luppi collaborative project Rome. The piece is also set to be a film adaptation of author Alden Bell’s post-apocalyptic sci-fi novel The Reapers Are the Angels, which was published last summer. Milk also functioned as “Visual Director” for Rome and collaborated with award-winning rock collective Arcade Fire last year in order to create an interactive video for The Suburbs cut “We Used To Wait.” This used Google Street View images to create custom videos based on viewers’ unique childhood home addresses. Stay tuned on this promising project and check out the Google Chrome video experiment for Rome here.
