Shaniqwa Jarvis for Silas T-Shirts

New York City native Shaniqwa Jarvis has teamed up with apparel company Silas to bring us a limited run of T-shirts featuring photography from their collaborative “This Charming Man” exhibition. The exhibition and clothing pieces are based on intimate portraits inspired by the men who have had their influence on the female artist over the course of a three-year span when she resided in Los Angeles, New York and London. The photos are meant to be honest portraits of the lives of these men in signature Shaniqwa Jarvis style. The talented photographer who has done work for Nike, Reebok, Stussy and Supreme is opening her exhibition with Silas today October 21 in a private viewing from 7 p.m.-9 p.m. at Gallery North Gate in the Silas & Maria Daikanyama & Studio Bee.
