Reflecting its sincere goal of pure design, watch manufacturer DEFAKTO introduce the Akkord, a simplified and elegant two-handed timepiece. The Akkord eschews the usual form and function embellishments in favor of a minimal stainless steel circular case and a refined calfskin leather strap. Indicating hours and minutes, rectangles of various weights pose a striking contrast against the single color face. Movement is provided via a Swiss automatic ETA caliber 2824-2 with 25 jewels, 28,800 vph and a power reserve of 40 hours. Founded in 2009, the DEFAKTO Akkord reaffirms the brand’s cardinal philosophies toward high quality manufacturing, timeless and daringly minimal design.
