British artist and London native, John Stark, recently sat down with Dazed Digital to discuss his latest solo exhibition titled “Apiculture.” Named after the exhibit’s beekeeping modus, the presentation blends overtly thematic imagery with Stark’s unique allegorical and mystical oil-on-canvas stylings. Throughout the interview, the often enigmatic artist addresses the exhibit’s creative progression, his personal inspirations and influences, as well as his upcoming projects. John Stark’s “Apiculture” will run from October 7 through November 12, 2011, at the Charlie Smith Gallery in London.
