Produced by Daisuke Gemma, this exhibition works around German-American architect Mies Van Der Rohe’s dictum “Less is More” and invites designers to re-work Dickies’ classic garments. Collaborative pieces include works by Jun Takahashi, Takahiro Miyashita and Daisuke Obana who each focus on functional, valued designs. A total of 15 pieces are to be shown, with the show lasting for two weeks, running from August 4 to 17. The exhibition will be situated on the second floor of Isetan’s Shinjuku store, with limited pieces becoming available to purchase within this period.
