Swedish Rap-artist Rebstar teamed up with producer du jour Boi-1nda for his latest track “Dead Or Alive”. The Canadian beatsmith has been receiving plenty of attention lately due to his work on Drake’s monster “Over” so this pairing may appear surprising to some. Here is some background information on how this collaboration came to fruition.

I recently worked with Canadian super producer Boi-1da (Drake’s Best I Ever Had, Forever). We’d been talking about having him produce on the mixtape and he was just as eager as me to get started. He flew to Malmö and spent enough days here for us to find the right track for the tape. I wanted a record that just smacks you in the face.
