Stussy Deluxe x Mark Borthwick 2010 Spring/Summer Lookbook

Stussy Deluxe has partnered with British, Brooklyn-based artist Mark Borthwick to create a series of photographs utilizing pieces from the Spring 2010 Stussy Deluxe collection. As a detour from traditional look books or brand presentations, they invited artists to create self portraiture with a quiet infusion of product, in methods true to their fine art techniques.

Borthwick’s often avant-garde fashion photography ruled the most prominent fashion magazines through the late ’80s and ’90s and his work is known for a crisp minimalism and sun-drenched exuberance. His other artistic endeavors include music, film-making, installation, cooking and hosting gatherings at his Boerum Hill residence. His career retrospective book called Not in Fashion was published in 2009.
