A brand with an extensive history, Levi’s 1944 501 model references to the Second World War. In this reproduction version, all excess metal, fabric and threads were removed in order to help with the war effort. The iconic Arcuate stitching also had to be taken away and as a solution to this, Levi’s began painting on the design rather than stitching it in. This can now be purchased through The Three Threads, London at the price of £155 ($248 USD).
