Few architectural firms have had the same impact on retail experience as Japan’s WONDERWALL.
Few architectural firms have had the same impact on retail experience as Japan’s WONDERWALL. Founded by Masamichi Katayama, WONDERWALL set out to pay homage to some of its most memorable projects over the last 10 years through a diorama exhibition. Several familiar stores are represented including colette, Nike Harajuku, NOWHERE, UNIQLO SoHo New York, BAPEXCLUSIVE AOYAMA and A.P.C. Daikanyama Homme. The cost of production for each diorama is said to range in the six-figures but also represent an important piece of the puzzle to ensure no details are overlooked. The exhibition is currently on display in Fukuoka but will move to Nagoya next year.
