Skateboarding Hall Of Fame 2010

The International Association of Skateboard Companies (IASC) and Skatelab have just announced the 2010 list of inductees to its hall of fame. December 4 will see Torger Johnson, Stacy Peralta, Steve Caballero, Eric Koston and Bob Burnquist each be immortalised, celebrated as masters of their art. For the first time ever, a female skater will also be inducted, of course we’re talking about the first ever female pro-skater, Patti Mcgee. The invite-only event will be held at The Cooper Building in Los Angeles and will feature both a silent and live auction of skate memorabilia as well as musical guests. Proceeds from ticket sales and auction items will benefit the Go Skateboarding Foundation which sends kids to “skate-camp” on a scholarship and supports skateboarding related charities.
