Artist Bansky has donated one his classic works for a greater cause. A work made of painted enamel on aluminum recently sold at a Christie’s Post-War and Contemporary Art Day auction for $75,000. Proceeds from this auction were given to the restoration fund of the Defensetration in San Francisco. Known for his restoration style art, Bansky is ever elusive yet creates work from materials that are common and turns them into works of art.
