Scabal x Lodger Shoe of the Month 2009 July

Each month, British shoemakers Lodger launch their “Shoe of the Month” campaign. With this in mind comes a limited edition shoe releasing for that particular month, never to be re-created or re-produced ever again. For the July, 2009, Lodger features this classic English Oxford. The materials feature Scabal striped linen with contrast French calf piping in a burnished tan color. The outsoles are Goodyear welted onto flexible leather soles which are further hand finished with rope emboss work and finished a natural blonde. As an added benefit of an owner of an exclusive pair of Shoe of Month Lodgers, the owner’s name comes hand-painted in addition to receiving shoe-trees made of the shoe’s exact last. The shoes go on pre-order starting today with a suggested retail price of £375 GBP (approximately $614 USD).
