Going from his role as the creative director behind Engineered Garments, Daisuke Suzuki doesn’t venture too far off from the theme of traditional men’s apparel with his undertaking of Woolrich Woolen Mills for their 2009 fall/winter collection. Working closely with the Woolrich Woolen Mills in Pensylvania, the encompassing theme from a technical standpoint was to ensure pieces were adapted for the urban dweller. This resulted in lighter pieces to compliment the already classic looks associated with Woolrich and that has been embraced in recent memory. Also on the horizon is a co-branded effort with Russell on a pair of footwear.
