With the creation of the Super Team 33 concept, New Balance’s releases emanating from Super Team 33 has all been conceptually rich, applying very often a literal translation of concepts such as tropical fish, earth elements, fanzines and even luggage. Rotating amongst New Balance’s different regional entities, New Balance Japan masterminds this upcoming release titled the Suit Pack as seen on the M998. The M99X series was originally released back in 1982, exorbitantly priced at $100 USD. From there we saw a progression from the M990 to the M992 eventually making its way onto this interpretation of the M998. The Super Team 33 is often characterized by a higher build quality and increased detailing which encompasses special packaging. Much like previous Super Team 33 releases, pack #6 comes in a series of three sneakers. Available September 18th. Available for pre-order at mita.
