It seems like Han Cholo, makers of fine jewelry from Los Angeles, will be working with Puma to release their own version of the Puma First Round. This Han Cholo x Puma First Round will feature Han Cholo printed on both the upper back portion of the shoe as well as the bottom of the sole. Unfortunately at this time, no further information has been released.

As winners of the NBA’s first draft lottery, the New York Knicks selected seven footer Patrick Ewing to cornerstone their team. Despite not paying dividends in the form of titles, the big man became an unforgettable member of New York’s die hard basketball community for the next 15 years. For 2008, New York will once again look to the basketball gods in hopes of securing something good on Tuesday, May 20th. In a similar spirit to an event that started last year, one day before the official draft, Classic Kicks will host their own lottery drawing on May 19th with the release of a No Mas x Puma First Round modeled in classic New York colors. Stussy’s latest 2008 summer collection of t-shirts have started filtering out and making themselves available through numerous Stussy outlets. As part of their latest collection of tees as part of the Artist Series, living legends Eric Haze and Chris “Daze” Ellis have participated in the special collection. Eric Haze contributed the Chisel and Scratch tee while Daze’s work features the Dog tee. Available now at select Stussy dealers as well as Stussy Direct.
In the meeting of two colossal pairings, Mister Cartoon and Estevan Oriol of SA Studios were chosen to help create the movie poster for Overture Films’ upcoming motion picture Righteous Kill starting Robert De Niro and Al Pacino. Also within the creative mix is leading art brand Upper Playground, as this poster represents the debut of an ongoing partnership between UP, SA Studios and Overture Films. This August, SA Studios will open up the SA Studios x Righteous Kill Downtown LA Experience featuring movie merchandise and signed lithographs by Mister Cartoon and Estevan Oriol. The movie Righteous Kill opens up September 12th, 2008.

Crazy ass week as much of it was spent in Beijing for the launch of Nike Sportswear. Sleepless nights and tons of work went hand in hand but still a fun time nonetheless. Highlight aside from an incredible looking 2008 Fall collection from Nike Sportswear was bar none an action filled Tuesday night. This weeks picks range from the highly hyped RIM Blackberry 9000 to Season’s continued love of accessories and all-things eyewear.
