Slick x Roger Waters Pig at Coachella

Music and art have always gone hand in hand when it comes to collaborations. While graffiti is always viewed as being closely tied to hip-hop culture, it can just work just as well in a rock setting. OG graf head Slick did up this giant inflatable pig for Roger Waters (of Pink Floyd fame) for Sunday Night’s Coachella show. The pig (representing a critique of capitalist greed) was used as a giant prop that emerged when he played a version of “Pigs”. On a related note it’s reported that concert organizers are offering $10,000 for the safe return of the inflatable pig, as well as 4 lifetime Coachella passes. If you have any info on it’s whereabouts please email lostpig@coachella.com.

Nike - Take It To The Next Level

Nike - Take It To The Next Level

You’re never going to have the misfortune of getting dangled by Cristiano Ronaldo nor finish for a goal off a Cesc Fabregas cross. In fact you’re never going to suit up for Arsenal. However with Nike’s latest commercial, Take It To The Next Level, you have just been given a first hand perspective as you rise to prominence. Being scouted by Arsene Wenger himself, you are soon afforded the opportunity of coming on as a sub in a huge match vs. rivals Manchester United, also for your missed tackle to led to C. Ronaldo scoring a goal. Through the glamor of red carpet events and playing in Europe, this is all met with hard work off the pitch training. Nike has always had a knack for creating great soccer related commercials and this one is no exception.

Review: Rock Star Games Grand Theft Auto IV

Review: Rock Star Games Grand Theft Auto IV

The long awaited Grand Theft Auto IV is finally upon us. The 4th installment to Rockstar North’s Grand Theft Auto series is already breaking records within the gaming industry having sold more pre-orders than Bungie’s Halo 3. In a sense this is still the game we’ve all come to know and love, but it’s much more this time around. This isn’t just a game, this is a cinematic masterpiece. You literally feel as if you are controlling the plot within a Hollywood film. The visuals have been completely revamped and although Liberty City isn’t as big as San Andreas, there are many more things that can be done within the space that is used. This is definitely the most depth we’ve ever seen in an electronic world. This game is definitely breathtaking and without a doubt one of the best games I’ve ever seen period.
