With basketball at the heart of their roots, UNDRCRWN is set to unveil their 2008 Spring collection in accordance with NCAA March Madness. The preview follows a similar plot line with NCAA greats finding their way on to several t-shirts. To further add to the hoopla, UNDRWCRWN have hooked up with Ubiq of Philly and EA Sports in a special March Madness party and collection release. Aside from playing March Madness 2008, DJ Cash Money will be spinning with well known hip hop artists Beanie Segal, Mos Def and The Roots in attendance. Check the flyer below for more details.
As previously mentioned, the World Wide Bape Heads Show which will have performances by Kanye West, N.E.R.D., Nigo and the Teriyaki Boyz will be taking place in Hong Kong on April 10th. Here is a look at the commercial for the upcoming show which is an neat animation with all the performers drawn in a Bape style.

Despite Gilbert Arenas’ notable on-court absence, adidas has continued with many themed releases seen on his Gil II Zero model. These will be available March 23rd.
As noted by previous previews of upcoming ZX 90s Run Tex and ZX 7000 retro running models, we’re expecting big things out of the adidas camp. Another old school addition to the bunch is this original rendition of the ZX 9000. This 1989 release appeared on stage in a golden era of running releases with cutting edge technology and leading aesthetics. Expected to release in July of 2008. Available at Limiteditions.
Jeff Koons’ announced solo exhibitions for 2008 will see the heralded and controversial artist open shows in Chicago, New York and Versailles later this year. The artist best known for his kitsch style should provide some interesting and provocative sculptures and paintings starting off April 29th of next month at “Jeff Koons on the Roof”. Aside from the debut at New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art, other shows include “Jeff Koons” at Chicago’s Museum of Contemporary Art (May 31st – September 21st) and “Jeff Koons” at the Chateau de Versailles (Septemeber).
