This past week in Paris, Italian store Slam Jam displayed a series of upcoming collections from the likes of Gourmet, PAM, WoodWood and the relatively unknown collection of footwear Be Positive. With the foundation of the shoe beginning with your average dose of sneaker representing the sole and midsole, the upper quickly reflects a much more refined and mature upper as witnessed by the several models. Interesting to see what else Be Positive has racked up in future collections.

Although most of the information pertains to next month’s release including 100% and 400% Bearbricks, the fate of the Converse All Star is yet to be determined. Puma’s most popular lifestyle running model is making an appearance in this most recent upcoming Yo! MTV Raps collection. Although not the most flashiest Yo! MTV Raps x Puma to come through the ranks, this particular RS100 represents the whole concept quite well with a tonal leopard print and pink highlights.

In the land of vinyl and cartoons, Rocco & Al run Rocco’s Diner next door to Carhartt’s Detroit headquarters. Two versions are available, a general release color version and a black and white version.

On the retail front, member’s only CELUX represents a lifestyle store whose stock of products was the quintessence of rarity and luxury with many brands offering exclusive CELUX designed products for the boutique. Having said that, CELUX will shut down shop later this year with a last run of products in collaboration with Fred Perry being created by various creative agencies such as Staple Design (NY), Libertine (NY), Duckie Brown (NY), Chatav Ectabit (NY), HTC (LA), Conrad Leach (UK), A Love Movement (LA), Suzukike (Japan), Jean Diadem (Japan), and Green (Japan). Here’s a specific look at Staple Design’s offering inspired by Elton John track, “Goodbye The Yellow Brick Road”. A black and white version are both limited to a three shirt run.
