It is rare for us to highlight what hip hop artists are wearing but what Kanye West wore at the Grammys is too hard to pass on. In the performance where Kanye sang two songs including “Stronger” and “Hey mama”, he was seen wearing some really dope LED shutter shades, some light up jacket by Willo Perron and a pair of shoes that even we can’t identify. If anyone knows what he he was wearing, please send us an email and we’ll update this post.
You can watch the performance here.
Update: Thanks for everyone’s email about Kanye’s shoes. We’re pretty sure they’re not Ato Matsumoto boots as the Ato’s have two straps. Some say they’re a new collaboration between Kanye and Nike but don’t quote us on this. We’ll just have to wait and see.
Here’s a first look at the Nike Air Max Neo 360. This new model uses the one piece Air Bubble that makes you feel like you’re running on air. The upper looks a lot like the Nike Air Structure which actually re-released a couple months ago. This Nike Air Max 360 Neo 360 sports a cool colorway making this shoe very futuristic in style. No word on when the shoes will be released.

Eric Haze offers his insight on participating in this project and more importantly how to distinguish between different interests when partaking in an initiative such as the Green Label Art. His post can be seen over at his Riottt blog.

As America’s favorite past time, baseball has not be without it’s fair share of political issues. From the current steroid scandal to gambling issues in the past, the Broken Halos concept emerged as the nickname of the Angels franchise following some divided moves which began in 2005. Over the years, the Angels franchise has endured various name changes, from it’s original name the Anaheim Angels to the California Angles in 1965, and back to the Anaheim Angels in 1997 while under the control of Disney. However in 2005, new owner Arte Moreno wanted to develop the Los Angeles media market and wanted a renaming to the Los Angeles Angels. Although fans alike fought furiously to preserve the roots of the team, a name change went forth. The resulting Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim is a direct example of the power of money over the preservation of history. The Angels have fallen and in their place, Broken Halos remain. In this collaboration between Estate LA and Triumvir, the two pay tribute to Angels organization with a collection of t-shirts and fitted caps. These pieces will release as part of Triumvir’s Spring collection which drops in March.
