An eventful meeting in Rome between Pakastani Muslim Farah Malik and Libyan Jew Dana Arbib led to the creation of A Peace Treaty. The brand was born out of duo’s creative resemblances for high fashion and the disappearing art of textile production. Their production enables talented artisans to ply their trade in difficult socio-economic conditions. Each collection focuses on a specific region, with the 2008 Spring collection inspired by the Punjab region of India.
