Natalia Brilli | Leather Rock Band Installation

Parisian-based leather accessories designer Natalia Brilli has completed a rock band fully crafting in leather. The Belgium-trained Brilli has made this special installation a part of her 2009 spring/summer collection. The band is comprised of three skeletons, a guitar, amp, mic and drum set all wrapped in black leather requiring 500 hours per skeleton with 70 skins necessary to complete the entire setup. Natalia Brilli’s installation will make its way to Miami’s Art Basel from December 2nd to the 10th to be showcased at Alchemist. A tour will be in full effect visiting Barney’s NYC, Dusseldorf in January, Copenhagen Fashion Week in February at the store Paris Texas, Vienna in March at Park, Montreal in April at Reborn, Hong Kong in May at On Pedder and then onto Singapore and Sydney for the rest of 2009. In addition, pieces of the band will be available for purchase with a certificate of authenticity and special flight box autographed by Natalia Brilli.
