Opening this Saturday at the Joshua Liner Gallery is the exhibit of Kris Kuksi’s “Imminent Utopia” art collection. This collection features a grandeur look at some of the most breathtaking sculptures which reminisces many subjects such as the human condition, religion, to war in a post-apocalyptic futurist look into art. These meticulously designed sculptures are made mainly from figurines and model kits to bring an antique-like feel and unique aesthetic. Along with this exhibit, Pat Rocha makes his solo debut with “Departure.” It features a series of oil paintings with a rural Midwestern American feel to it from the 1950s.
