Vans has teamed up with the artist SheOne and brand Addict for a very beautiful collaboration sneaker. Using the Vans SK8-Hi model as the canvas, SheOne has amazingly turned a normal skate shoe into a piece of artwork. The colorway choice for this shoe is great as well. Even though a eye catching red is used, this shoe remains very elegant and most importantly, wearable. Hopefully we’ll have more information soon but we’re definitely looking forward to this release.

The long anticipated release of Nike’s Quickstrike pack has finally reached the states. The pack includes two new colorways of the zoom flight 95 and 96. The 95 features a Black/Zest colorway while the 96 is Black/Red. Both available now from Proper.
The CT470 from New Balance is an old school court shoe that has been popular only in Japan. The model features a very clean silhouette with details like a suede toe box and a vintage feeling sole. For these past few years, custom hand made items from skills artisans have been a trend in Japan. From custom furniture to hand made silver jewelry, all the trend setters have been scooping up these handcrafted pieces. Grok Leather is a skilled artisan which focuses on leather. All their leather products are 100% handmade in Japan. For their latest products, they have teamed up with Jun Takahshi and Hiroshi Fujiwara’s brand, Anarchy Forever Forever Anarchy or commonly known as AFFA, for a leather bracelet. The bracelet has the words “AFFA” embossed onto it and comes in a M&M box. It retails for 18,900 Yen and is available now at Figure.
Ten years have passed since the original coming together of DJ crew 5th Platoon. Originally, this collaboration between 5th Platoon and adidas was to release last year during the holiday season and limited to only 50 pairs. However those plans were changed with numbers of 500 pairs produced and the institution of a contest by 5th Platoon. Well-known basketball brand UNDRCRWN designed one of their popular caricature shirts in the likeness of the 5th Platoon. Each t-shirt purchased includes a raffle ticket. The winning raffle ticket drawn on April 4th, 2008 will win a special 1 of 5 original size 9 sample 5P x adidas EQT B-Ball as well as a production version in their desired size. The differences are slight but are definitely apparent such as different lasering, sole layout and inner lining.
