For fledging brand Public School’s, its founding teachers Dao-Yi Chow and Maxwell Osborne set out to create a movement through their self-inspired need to educate people on a culture they helped build. Their collection bases itself off of fashion’s ability to bring together inspirations far and wide to create something meaningful and powerful. Their black apple with feather quill logo alludes to both New York’s iconic apple symbol as well as a journey towards knowledge. Their debut 2008 Spring/Summer collection incorporates New York relevant themes such as 1970s gang couture in a decidedly more refined style than the subject matter would suggest. With news of an impeding JB Classics x Ride Snowboards collaboration on the horizon, here are some teaser pictures of the FUL boot. The FUL boot will be among a large list of co-branded products such as boards, bindings and apparel. The recent exhibition Under the Influence: A Tribute to Stan Lee and the crowd it drew symbolized the effect Stan Lee has had on popular culture. It seems at one time or another, somebody has been subjected to the creations of the storied illustrator. The whole collection of paintings and artwork created by various artists under inspiration from Marvel’s catalog of heroes was made available by the host venue Gallery 1988. The collection in it’s entirety can be seen here and is worth a look if you didn’t have a chance to check the event out.

New images have surfaced regarding some upcoming Nike Air Structure retros for this upcoming summer and fall. Two of the releases incorporate printed materials along the collar and lining however they all share rather simple origins. The blue structure will release in March while the other two will release in August.
