Since 2004, London based Pointer Footwear has filled in the void left by traditional athletic shoe companies by creating timeless sneakers that would transcend time and still be relevant down the road. Pointer’s creations are prefect for the consumer looking for casual sneakers yet feature clean and simplicity at the forefront of their designs.
Featured here are some of Pointer’s upcoming Fall/Winter 2007 collection. Included are the yaughting inspired Debaser II, the Taylor, Mathieson II Burgundy and the Seeker III. More pictures and accompanying descriptions after the jump.
The Taylor is constructed on a new shape with a zig zag printed lining. A soft leather toe box, counter and padded tongue are all features seen on the Taylor. Also visible is the moccasin inspired stitching over the toe box. It’s available in black or chocolate.
The Mathieson II is a mid-cut shoe that features a moccasin style stitching alongside the toebox. The upper is a mix of canvas and leather.
The Debaser is a low cut yaughting shoe. The 15 oz canvas (customary on all Pointer footwear) is similar to the Mathieson both sharing a moccasin style stitched upper and a leather and canvas upper.
The Seeker III is a low cut plimsolls (traditional) style sneaker. Variations involve canvas and printed canvas uppers.
