As we enter into the month of August, Nike SB has provided a glimpse of what’s in store for August 2007. The releases include the Old Spice Dunk Lows, the Loon Tre, a red Harbor, black/yellow Team Edition, and a wheat colored Classic SB. They will be available at skateshops around the globe this month.
The highly anticipated Optimus Prime Air Trainer III from Nike has finally been issued a release date. After the initial revealing of this model, some uncertainties were cast over this shoe from issues between Nike and Hasbro to the model being scrapped.
Coupled with the box office success of the full feature motion picture, expect this Optimus Prime Air Trainer III to be a very well received release. They will be available on August 9th at selected Nike dealers.

Japanese footwear brand Madfoot! has just updated their online store with some upcoming August releases. Among the sneakers you’ll find are the Mad MDY Base Mid, the Mad Mid Base, the Mad Witness, the Mad Professor High 2 and the Mad Professor. The Mad Base models should be released on August 25th, while the others will be available starting August 10th. The sneakers range from 12,600 Yen (approximately $106 USD) to 15,570 Yen (approximately $131 USD).

Triumvir’s latest collaboration, the Legio XIII x Gil Elvgren t-shirt is set to release this week. Gil Elvgren was considered by many to be the greatest pin-up artist of all time. So significant was his work that it led to the publishing of a book dedicated to his art titled “The Great American Pin-Up”. These t-shirts will be available in white, black and yellow however in limited quantities of 300 shirts per color. The yellow version will be sold exclusively at Triumvir’s online store starting Friday.

Japanese premium lifestyle magazine, Huge, recently released an extensive issue revolving the 25th Anniversary of the Air Force 1. The magazine is loaded with features on this year’s celebration of the Air Force 1 including an article on the World Love pack. The magazine is available now at Japanese bookstores.

NYC streetwear label Mishka has joined up with Japanese apparel brand Mackdaddy to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Mackdaddy. The pack contains two t-shirts and a New Era fitted cap. Aside from being available in Mackdaddy stores across Japan, select retailers in the US will also receive these special collaborative pieces. No word yet on a release date.

Here is a look at the new Undefeated Tokyo Mural tee designed by graphic designer Brent Rollins is a member of The Ego Trip Creative Collective and have coauthored two books including “ego trip’s Book of Rap Lists” and “ego trip’s Big Book of Racism!”. He also took part in Stussy’s World Tour project where he designed a special tee for ‘Group 6’. This new tee will be released on August 10th at UNDFTD stores across Japan.

Sophnet. is a Japanese fashion label which integrates sports wear into modern and stylish designs. They have just released their online lookbook for their 2007 Autumn/Winter collection.
