Contemporary Japanese artist Takashi Murakami is the creator of the album artwork for Kanye West’s 3rd major album, Graduation. Murakami is well known for his application of the Japanese art form of Superflat which is inspired by manga and anime and critiques the downfalls of Japanese society. Kanye West’s album is set to release on September 11th.
