The Cobra Snake continues his collaboration with Californian brand RVCA. A tank top featuring this same 90’s inspired graphic was released last week and sold out right away. Now the design is available again on a heather gray t-shirt. Limited to 250 pieces, the tee is available now (in both mens and womens sizes) from www.thecobrasnake.com
Puma will be bringing back the re-release of the Puma Argentina model with an exclusive global launch at RAN in Liverpool. This shoe created in 1978 with the national colors of the Argentinean flag, was for the recognition of 10 Puma football players who helped Argentine win the World Cup. July 21th will see a return of the Argentina model with it’s original sea port colorway and nylon spec. There will only be 240 pairs available worldwide with each shoe individually numbered accompanied by a collectible fanzine of the day dedicated to 1970’s football culture. The retail price will be £65.
Puma will also host a global launch party at one of Liverpool’s finest sneaker stores, Ran, on the evening of July 20th.
This will be the 2nd time that JB Classics will be doing a shoe with Kid Robot and the artist, Tilt. This Tilt x Kid Robot x JB Classics sneaker based on the JB Classics Peddler model features a full grain tumble leather toe cap, mesh quarters, custom Kid Robot lace locks and artwork screend onto the heel panel by Tilt. These along with the Tilt Thought Bubble Crew Neck from the Kid Robot line will be released in August.
Yesterday, we had a sneak peek at the adidas 2008 Flavors of the World collection. Today, we have another look at some more sneakers from that collection. Once again, we do not know what ‘flavors’ these are but stay tuned for more information in the coming future.
Stussy has collaborated with the legendary rock band, The Stooges, for a t-shirt that will be released at Stussy stores on Saturday July 21th.
“The Stooges. Led by front man Iggy Pop, The Stooges were formed in 1967 and “virtually single-handedly godfathered punk rock, garage rock and American heavy metal.” They reformed in 2003 for live shows and recently released their first new studio album in over 30 years, The Weirdness. On July 28, 2007, Iggy Pop and The Stooges will perform at the Fuji Rock Festival in Japan along with The Beastie Boys, The Cure, The Chemical Brothers and Fishbone.”
