In commemoration of Electronic Arts’ upcoming skateboarding game, titled Skate, adidas has joined forces with the video game company and two of it’s marquee riders, Mark Gonzales and Dennis Busenitz for a pair of Mark Gonzales High Score Superstar Skate and a Dennis Busenitz High Score Gazelle Skates. In correlation with their video game theme, both sneakers feature some details that offer a bit of a flashback to your video game past. The High Score title beside the adidas stripes hole is created in a recognizable old school video game font. The insoles also feature that same font in a High Score table. The translucent soles offers a window to each posing rider.
Now onto the tricky part. There are only 500 pairs are available and supposedly the only way of getting a chance to purchase these sneakers is via unlocking special codes within the Skate game and in turn using those codes at shopadidas.com.
