Here’s the latest Spring/Summer release from Ubiq. These vulcanized high-top’s have a distinctly Van’s feel to it, but then again so do most vulcanized rubber sneakers. The Fatima is available in black, white, red, and purple and features soft suede on a high cut body. These will be available mid May at Chapter World.
Although Lance Armstrong’s reign at the top of the cycling world came to an end, his mark on the sporting world and with Nike is undeniable. The latest love from Nike is in the form of this gum soled and red upper Nike Cheyenne. For Lance Armstrong fan’s, stayed tuned as there is presently no confirmation on the release of these.

Just around the corner for this month of May will be the kick off to this year’s Bicycle Film Festival. The festival will run for five days in New York beginning May 16th. In addition to the films that will be playing, there will also be the Joyride Art Show with pieces from artists such as Michel Gondry, Kareem Black, Peter Sutherland, ESPO, and more. There’s more going on around for this year’s festival, so check out their site now for schedules and showtimes. And if you can’t wait till the 16th, there will also be a BFF 2007 pre-fest party on Tuesday, May 8th from 9pm till late at LIT, located at 93 2nd Ave. between 5th and 6th Streets. There will be free Pabst Blue Ribbon beer for this event as well.
