Reebok dropped this “Float†model in two clean color-ups, just in time for the warm weather. The sneaker has a boat-shoe vibe to it, sporting premium leather and a heel that resembles your dad’s Sperry top-siders. Move past the white-on-white classics and cop these for some summer style. The two colorways featured are in stores now, and retail for $89.

The definitive source in financial and business news, the Wall Street Journal recently ran an article about the changing market regarding exclusive sneakers. It is within recent memory that every SB release seemed to garner the ability to command more then its retail price over various internet mediums, but alas you do not need an economics degree to realize that with increasing stocks of sneakers being released, there seems to be more than enough for everybody effectively lowering the asking market price. However, it seems that the general direction of the Wall Street Journal is that this may be a negative factor affecting sneakers. But in reality doesn’t this benefit almost all of the sneaker segment? Cheaper sneakers that are easier to acquire is the new name of the game.

Japanese brand Flaph are in the midst of releasing an upcoming six pack of sneakers. The sneakers are broken down into the Urban Concrete Jungle Camouflage and the East London Geezer Pack. The Urban Concrete is based on the Classic Leather Mid and comes in a stunning array of color’s, while the East London Geezer Pack, based on the Classic Leather Low features toned down more subtle color’s.

This past weekend, the world’s largest traveling expo of sneakers and street art hit the Filipino capital of Manila. Around 900 pairs of some of the rarest and most highly sought after sneakers were displayed while two indoor rooms featured some works by some of the living legends of the street art game. UNDFTD recently ran an exhibition featuring a preview of their upcoming Fall 2007 line. Some of the pictures shown reveal a variety of different tops and jackets as well as some upcoming lace locks. Rounding out the fun is a slated collaboration with Timberland that will not only include sneakers but a fitted cap as well.
