For this event, Hong Kong Blood Cancer Foundation has worked with Medicom Toy and ten hi end fashion labels including Cartier, Chanel, Coach, Hogan, Hermes, Missoni, Moschino, Paul Smith, Salvatore Ferragamo and Tod’s to create a series of 1000% Be@rbricks that will be auctioned off at Bonhams Asia Auction House from May 26 till the 28th. Takashi Murakami Artwork for Kanye West

Check out this artwork by Japanese artist Takashi Murakami who is regarded as the Andy Warhol of Japan. His previous works include the Louis Vuitton purse collection which became the most bootlegged purses in history. The art seen here is a project which Murakami is heading for Kanye West’s upcoming release Graduation. Murakami will be art directing the whole album which is scheduled to drop late summer.

The boutique Union first opened in NYC back in 1989 when the term “streetwear” didn’t exist. It was one of the first shops of its kind that catered to what we call “streetwear”. Since then, Union has expanded to another shop in LA and soon they will be opening their third shop once again in NYC. For the opening, there will be several tees produced by various brands including Stussy, Neighborhood, W)Taps, Undefeated, 10 Deep and Accupulco Gold. The one you see here will be the one created by the artist KAWS.
