Shin Tanaka’s claim to fame within the Japanese sneaker was via his paper creations of sneakers he wasn’t able to afford as a youngster. This led to the creation of other different toys while researching material for graffiti projects. For many of Shin’s designs, only one model is created however he does give the option for others to purchase paper templates that they can recreate themselves.
Shin’s collaboration with Onitsuka results in a Mexcio ‘66 model you can freely download. By customizing the paper model to your liking you stand the chance of winning your very own personalized pair of Mexico ’66’s from Onitsuka.
Check the Shin x Onitsuka website for more details.
