CLOT x Acu x Nike will release a special edition Nike Dunkesto to commemorate the opening of CLOT’s Shanghai sneaker boutique called ACU. This Dunkesto (hybrid of a dunk and the presto) is made from hemp, croc skin, and leather material. It comes in the colorway of wheat, grey, yellow, red, and green and sports the popular presto plastic panel on the side. The shoes are extremely limited and will be available this coming March 16th at the ACU shop.

“Little Friend” is a talking toy conceived and designed by American contemporary artist Mike Kelley, and produced by Medicom Toy. For those who are unfamiliar with Mike Kelley, he is one of the world’s most important living contemporary artists and has shown globally at many top galleries, including the MoMa, MOCA, LACMA, the Louvre, as well as at foremost private galleries such as Gagosian and Metro Pictures. On a popular culture level, he is famous for the Sonic Youth LP cover “Dirty”, and also for his seminal Detroit based art band Destroy All Monsters.
The toy is great, and can speak 20 different sayings. Limited to 600 pieces worldwide, “Little Friend” retails for $210 and is available now at Someday in Melbourne and other select retailers.

Stones Throw and Saint Alfred will be celebrating a bi-monthly residency in Chicago called “Move.” The event happens every other month with performances by different Stones Throw artists.
