Here’s a look at NY-based brand Major Threat’s spring line. Keeping up with their tradition of having in-your-face graphics and messages on their tees, the new line draws inspiration from NORE, Cops, The Clash and the “We Major” track Kanye and Nas did on Late Registration. These shirts will begin to hit sores like Goliath, Subdivision, Cap City, Moes & Co, and other retailers very soon.
New Balance used some left over material from their cutting room floor to make a series of 576’s in 3 different colorways. It might seem like an optical illusion at first, but if you look closely, the colorway on these pairs are reversed. An interesting take on recycling that would surely make people look twice at your feet.

Following up on the success of their Muska Sky Top model, Supra will be releasing a full collection of hi-top sneakers featuring a variety of premium materials and innovative cuts. The new line is called Supra NS (non-skate) and is set to debut in stores this summer.

French 77 is currently doing a collection for Puma involving Lydia Hearst,Theodora Richards, and Elizabeth Jagger. The new collection is centered around the theme of Tennis and will be available during May with Wimbledon around the corner in June. Check out the images of the lookbook after the jump.
Also, here is the new Puma Lydia Bag, which appeared with model/fashion icon Lydia Hearst during New York Fashion Week. The bag, part of French 77’s collection for Puma, was co-designed by Lydia’s friends Richie Rich and Traver Rains from the lifestyle brand, Heatherette. It comes in three colors playfully named, Delicate, Night, and Wild. Only 100 bags will be made, with most of them going to close friends of Lydia Hearst. UK on the other will get some bags, but in very limited quantities.

Known for his subversive, witty, and socially conscious works, the episode expands on the myth and legend Banksy has created for all art critics and fans to admire. The episode even has an exclusive audio interview with Banksy, where he goes in depth with some of the creations he has put up both in the streets and in galleries. Either way, give the video a look. It’ll give you a better familiarity with the person behind the art and the social contexts of some of his works, especially his obsession with Rats.
