As we reported before Japanese Chain store MUJI is opening their first flagship store in New York and they have announced that they will be located in the New York Times Building taking up about 5,000 square feet of retail space. Their main focus is quality and simplicity and this is definitely a great move on the part of MUJI to station a store in New York, so look for this location to open for holiday season 2007. Free Tattoos from Nike

Free Tattoos from Nike

Scott Campbell was commissioned by Nike to design the uniforms for the 2008 Olympics in Beijing. As part of this project, Campbell also designed a patriotic emblem for the US team which gave the Olympic Committee and Nike an idea. The Committee and Nike will pay any brave soul to have this emblem tattooed on them as a big back piece. The only stipulation is you have to be in fairly good shape (male or female). After the work is done, the recipient of this art piece will be photographed for the 2008 Olympics campaign. So just think it through if you’re already considering it. Remember it’s going to be a big back piece, so just brace yourself for the long hours and the pain from the needle. So if you’re serious contact in info@mama-tried.net, 212-920-4097.
