Converse has been working with designer John Varvatos for quite some time now designing a series of classic Converse sneakers. For Spring/Summer ‘07 they will be introducing a full line of clothing to go along side those sneakers. This collection consist of mens and ladies wear producing many pieces like denim, hoodies, tees, dresses, and much more. Ontour is releasing their Spring/Summer ‘07 Collection named “Sliced Ontour” and here are some photos from their catalog. This season features many styles in t-shirts and a variety of cut and sew items. They have a wide range of mens and womens wear and they will be also introducing new pieces this season like polo shirts, knitwear, a summer jacket and an extended womens range. This collection is now in stores, so check out the photos and view what Ontour has to offer.
We showed you an catalog image of this last week, now here are detailed images of the collaboration sneaker Creative Recreation and Crooks & Castles did. This Lucky Luciano model features all-over chain printed graphics on its white upper, and is complimented by the gold Creative Recreation logo. The shoes will be limited and will be in stores around the nation starting next week.

Sneaker Freaker were recently put in charge of creating a special commemorative quasi magazine/book regarding the Air Force 1. With no short of experience in writing and magazine production, who better to instill this honor upon. Included in this piece are interviews with many of the leading Air Force 1 heads in the world such as DJ Clark Kent, Bobbito Garcia, and Stash. It doesn’t stop there, a lesson is provided in the history of the New York “Uptown” scene, as well as the upcoming range of AF1’s releasing this year. Despite the fact that toys are often as simple an outlet outside the workings of the real world and life, Daniel and Geo Fuchs manage to put an unorthodox spin on things and photograph various toys from over the years in a political limelight in their book Toy Giant. It’s always fascinating the different perspectives people can put on things considered so trivial to others. All the toys featured are from Selim Varol’s personal collection.

Umbro by Kim Jones is slowly making it’s way to dealers worldwide, and these new Spring ‘07 trainers definitely caught our eye. The reason being is the simplicity. Rather then go out and produce many colorways of the same models, they have done simple colorways exclusive to each model. The Vulcanized Hi Woven shown on the left, and Mindy Lace Leather Lo offer two very different sneakers that can make that illusive task of finding the right trainers to go with your denim that much easier.
