Here is a look at an upcoming release from Nike. This Air Trainer 1 dubbed Chlorophyl will feature a nice and simple gray, white and blakc colorway. We have no idea why its rumored to be called Chlorophyl but it might in part because of the green color used on the shoe as Chlorophyl basically are the green pigments found in photosynthetic cells. Nevertheless, this makes a nice shoe for Spring ‘08 as it will be released near that time.

Here’s a look at a new Nike Court Force which according to Colmilludo is inpsired by a famous fish market in Japan called Niji Ichiba or Nijo Market. The market is located in downtown Sapporo, Japan. The Court Force features a patchwork of different textiles and textures. Other than the fish skin and the colorway, we really don’t see how it is similar to the market. No word on when or where the shoes will be released though.

Us Versus Them, the art collective & clothing line from the people behind the Southern California boutique/gallery, Versus will be releasing the 1st half of their Winter collection of designs this weekend. Consisting of hand-drawn designs and exclusive photographs, the line eschews the standard Photoshop cut & paste “sampling” in favor of a more ground up and thoughtful approach. Each design, while remaining aesthetically appealing, was created to represent a particular emotion or message, usually having to do with the dynamic relationships between creativity & capitalism and the disenfranchised & those in power. The Tin Soldiers shirt is a prime example which was printed on a locally cut & sewn custom body, featuring a photograph that was used in the official court hearings on the Kent State shootings, where student protesters were gunned down by anxious Ohio state troopers. The collection will be available now.
