A few days ago, Japan’s so called godfather of streetwear Hiroshi Fujiwara let the cat out of the bag regarding his latest team up with British headwear makers Kangol. Here’s a better look at the cap. The cap will only be offered in black, unlike Hiroshi’s previous Kangol creations. Look for them to drop through the hnyee.Store on December 7th.

Fuji began operations at the end of the 1800s and would go on to establish the “Tour of Japan” as well as be in attendance for the inaugural Keirin (sprint races) in 1948. Together Fuji and Obey teamed up to produce a fixed gear bike which takes the best of both worlds. The old school aesthetics of a 100 year company with specialized parts creates a modern classic. Available later this week at select Obey dealers.
Canadian brand Skoold In Korectnuss worked together with former DMC’s World DJ Championship winner (at 15 years of age none the less) A-Trak to produce this jaw dropping New Era cap. The cap is decked out front to back and includes custom silk lining with the taglines “Sunglasses is a Must” and “Skoold In Korectnuss”. Available later this month.
Lifestyle magazine Vapors were given the opportunity to create a special Friends & Family release New Era 59Fifty. The neon inspiration was lifted from the ever popular Neon Air Max 95. Designed by Weekly Drop’s Frank the Butcher, only 100 of these will only be handed out to select individuals.
Sharing a common agenda of creating high quality and sophisticated pieces for the market, it was only a matter of time before Mosley Tribes and Hardy Blechman’s maharishi teamed up for this limited edition sunglass release. Aside from the clothing and art exploits of maharishi, Hardy Blechman worked extensively on DPM, a book outlining the history and styles of camouflage over the years and the evolution of its uses into civilian society. Mosley Tribes emerged from the shadows of Oliver Peoples to create a new brand with different inspirations. This collaborative eyewear set takes into account maharishi’s refined nature incorporating intricate detailing. Three separate exchangeable lenses are available, Shooter Yellow, Silver Mirror and Grey Gradient. Available this Friday at maharishi, Barney’s Co-op and other fine retailers.
