adidas has just launched GilTV as it embarks on a campaign to release NBA All-Star Gilbert Arenas’ latest series of Remixed signature shoes. The TSLightswitchGil includes 20 different models created in collaboration with a variety of different brands and labels. The TSLightswitchGil will include collaborations with Slam Magazine, Benihana Hibachi, Looney Toons, UNDRCRWN, Halo and NBA Live ‘08 among others. Each style will be broken down into three different categories based on their availability. These shoes will debut between November 23rd and March 13th. The next release includes the TSLightswitch Gil II Zero x Cust0mize on November 23rd, inspired in part by Gilbert’s "Impossible is Nothing" campaign. The special white upper of the sneaker enables the customization via dry erase markers.
For people who grew up in 1980s, G.I. Joes were a popular and iconic cartoon staple. This latest pack of sneakers from Nike incorporate several references from the hit show.
