OriginalFake and Neighborhood are set to release a special toy later this week. The toy features Neighborhood’s dog mascot Zooth in Halloween drab alongside some trademark OriginalFake features. The toy is set to release at both the Neighborhood shop and the OriginalFake Tokyo store on Saturday, October 27th while a subsequent online release will go down at Kawsone next week.

Created in 1995, Japanese brand Montage has developed a strong following due to their mixture design themes and their attention to creating quality products. With various flagship stores around Japan and Asia, their 2007/2008 Fall/Winter Collection includes a series of outerwear and pants such as jackets, hoodies, and pants. Available at select Montage dealers.
Alife has also created a series of matching t-shirts to correspond with the upcoming release of the Alife x Asics Gel Lyte III sneakers. These t-shirts include the Alife logo in a reptilian print with the same eyeballs as seen on the Asics. Both sneakers and t-shirts will release on Saturday, October 27th at Alife’s three locations, Vancouver, Los Angeles and New York. Some pairs will also be available online at Alife, however no tees will go on sale online. The sneakers and tees are priced at $200 USD and $40 USD respectively.
The Nike SB Dunk High Pro "Jason Voorhees" was a late drop as part of October’s round of Nike SB releases. Created as part of the "Halloween Pack", the Dunk High is inspired by slasher film super villain Jason Voorhees of the Friday the 13th series of movies. These Dunks should be available at your local Nike SB retailer.

Fashion designer Paul Smith has teamed up with legendary snowboard brand Burton to release three signature pieces within Burton’s the Mark XIII Collection. The design theme behind each piece could be likened to the creation of highly technical outerwear with a mix of maturity and class. Essentially, the pieces utilize proprietary technologies on Burton’s part with the styling cues of Paul Smith. The collection includes a jacket, trench and pants. Available now through Paul Smith.

The latest works from artist Mode 2 are set to be exhibited at the end of the week in this latest showcase titled Party & Bullshit: Mode 2 at the DPMHI Gallery. Within this exhibition, Mode 2 has chosen some pieces as a reflection of his life. This includes his every day interactions as well as the uncertainty he has faced raising a child in this difficult and complex world we now are a part of.

The 2007 Fall/Winter "Dopethrone" Collection is themed after the "clashing of the 7s". For it was in 1977, the eye of the youth rebellion hurricane began. In Jamaica, the heart of the Rasta movement was starting and likewise in the United Kingdom with the proliferation of Punk. Don Letts and Bob Marley who brought together the likes of Punk & Reggae together. The Dopethrone features a combination of musical culture influences in Reggae, Punk Rock, Speed Metal, Hip Hop & Rasta. It is these very cultures which inspire Rockers NYC on the heels of their rebellious nature and intelligent discourse.

It appears as though an Original Fake collaboration with Japanese accessories maker Head Porter is in the works. This first look showcases the trademark Chomper imagery as it runs the length of a zipper. No other photographs are available but by the looks of things it appears as though a messenger bag is the basis for this design. Look for this bag to release in the very near future.

Some of New Balance’s initial hybrid creations meshed new with old such as the 574 Zip, which utilized the classic 574 upper and new age Zip cushioning technology. The latest New Balance hybrid features the 576 upper with the midsole of a Japanese favorite in the MT580. This "Thunder God" inspired sneaker includes some interesting characteristics such as Velcro fastening, patent leather highlights and a glow in the dark toebox. The sneakers will go on sale Saturday, November 3rd at Mita. Price is set at ¥17,640 (approximately $155 USD).
