Shop Gentei located in Baltimore has just worked on a collaboration project with streetwear label House 33 to create the Shop Gentei x House 33 coach jackets. The jacket features “Shop Gentei Fangs” graphics on the back and “Shop Gentei x House 33” written on the front chest. All the graphic design work is done by the design titans from House Industries and these jackets will be available on January 20th.

With all the hype around the iPhone, many companies are probably thinking of ways to counter this effect and introduce new phones to really compete. South Korean cell phone maker LG has linked with Fashion powerhouse Prada to come out with the “LG Prada” KE850. This phone features a 2 megapixel camera, USB connectivity, a Micro SD memory slot and is completely touch screen like the iPhone. The phone also has a sleek and mysterious look which definitely adds attraction. Unfortunately, LG has no plans of introducing this phone to America and will be for sale in late February for $780 at mobile phone dealers and Prada stores in Britain, France, Germany, Italy, and to Asian countries, including Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Singapore, in March.

Hip Hop artist Lupe Fiasco will be touring Japan this year (2007) and for this event, Lupe’s clothing label, Trilly & Truly have teamed up with Japanese streetwear label Swagger to make a super limited edition t-shirt for this tour. The t-shirt is labeled “Lupe Flastroboy Japan Tour ‘07 Tee”, the overall design and concept is great, so definitely check it out at Swagger shops in Japan. As for Japan, get ready for Lupe Fiasco.
Renowned artists VC Johnson, Erik Brunetti, Natas Kaupas, Ben Tour, Fighting and 23 other artists including eight from the Lifetime Collective, will clock in some extra hours this winter as they lend their talents and skills to “Useless Wooden Toys”, a unique art initiative developed by Furni and Rekognize Design and Marketing to raise funds for skate4cancer.
The program features 27 artists from the USA, Canada and Europe who will each custom-design a Mullen clock from Furni Creations, a hand-crafted furnishings company with its roots in the skate- board industry. The 27 clocks will then be auctioned off on eBay from February 11 2007 to May 27, 2007, with all proceeds going to the skate4cancer organization.
The artists’ completed works will be featured in “Useless Wooden Toys”, a vernissage at Off the Hook Boutique in Montreal (1021 A St. Catherine W.).
Furni’s Mullen is a contemporary wall mounted digital clock in a stylish rectangular shape made of beech wood that is the ideal blank canvas for any artist. The clock measures approximately 16” x 9” and features an “old-school” red LED clock display.

Here are some new exciting shirt releases by the X-Large Brand. As you can see, there’s a whole variety of graphic tees available for the next drop. As usual there’s a lot of logo tees in the collection, but you can expect other colorful designs as well. They drop on February 15th, so be sure to check them out.

This was obviously expected with the recent release of the Air Jordan V Laser release. Here are some videos and images from a shop called Phantaci in Taipei of sneakerheads eagerly awaiting the Laser V’s to drop. From the looks of the videos and images the line seemed to stretch out forever as customers were let in few by few even with the pouring rain outside. Now that’s dedication. Once inside, the few who were let in were greeted by a number of shop employees. The shop even had a wall dedicated to Jordans for customers to see.
