A Bathing Ape Shark Hoodie Release

A Bathing Ape has just hosted one of their biggest releases in history. The OG shark hoodie was sold all over Japan yesterday, the line reached up to 1000+ people at Bape Exclusive in Aoyoma, Tokyo. Bapexclusive sold two colors exclusively at that store only (Black and Red). The other two colors were orange and gray that could have been found in all the other Busy work shops in Japan. It is said that Bapexclusive only had 200 of the exclusive color way hoodies available to the public.

It turns out that the they will share the same space with the Neighborhood shop being on the first floor while the Bounty Hunter store being on the second. All taking place in the backyards of Boston, Massachusetts. They co-created a surprising Wallabee with authentic python belly skin up the front and python skin from the snakes tail on the heel. It was quite a process to work with the tanneries overseas to achieve harmony between the desired python color gradient and unique cracked-leather outer. Ultimately we think it achieved a classy and exotic ensemble of style. “It’s the type of collision you could expect from a Muccia Prada or Tom Ford handbag”, says Bobby Riley Creative Director/Principal at Soldier Design.
