Scott looked no further than a very obvious choice: Keith Haring, the pop-art hero of the boom-box generation. “Haring was all about high-tops,” says Scott. “He even did the backdrop for Run-D.M.C. for one of their tours.” (And we all know how Run-D.M.C. felt about their adidas.) “I went through the entire Keith Haring archive and found this print that he designed for textiles but never used,” Scott explains.
