Last year, Adidas introduced the Adidas 1, a running shoe with a built in microchip. What did the microchip do? The computer chip actually calculates the type of surface you are walking on (hard or soft) and adjusts the foam cushioning in the shoe to make it stiff or soft. Now imagine that technology in a basketball shoe. There’s no word on what the name of this new Adidas Basketball shoe will be, but they are expected to be released in limited quantities around the month of May. More pairs will then be released by August with a retail price in the $250 and up range. Continue reading for more pictures.

Ubiq will release these new shoes called Cibel in mid March. It is a evolution their model Scirocco. Canvas and suede upper, also features the leather shoelaces. Very sharp and good looking shoes.
