adidas recently released this Vintage Gazelle that features a great use of black artifical animal skin along with a nylon tongue. The black colorway of the shoe is in constrast with the vintage pearl colored soles and the brown classic leather lining. Available now at Offspring, UK.

Mr. SK brings us news and pictures of some adidas samples that will never see daylight and some that will be dropping soon. First, there’s the adidas Halfshells Cities Series ‘Kingston’ samples (pictured on the left). According to Mr. SK:
“This is part of the half shell series, there are various cities including NYC, SAN JUAN, Kingston and LA, but apart from NYC which will be dropped sometimes in 06, the rest are all dropped from production, so this is very very rare.”
Then there’s the adidas Superstar “ACE” sample (pictured in the middle) which according to Mr. SK:
“This superstar is made for LA consortium, the insoles have the complete art samples inside. very rare item for superstar collectors.”
Finally, there’s the adidas Superstar Brown Cream Mesh sample (pictured on the right):
“This superstar has the consortium lacelock from the 35th anniversary projects, i am not sure why, they just come with the shoes. For this pair, it uses premium leather for the body of the shoes and for the heel and stripes, it uses plastic mesh materials, very unique.”

Alternate Sneakers just recently put up pictures of the new Nike Air Force III Hi Premium Escape Pack. The difference with these is that it is in a different colorway. The colors included in this new Escape Pack installation are white, storm blue, and black. It kind of resembles the Nike SB Send Help Dunks’ colorway.

With the FIFA World Cup taking place in Germany this summer, Nike will be releasing limited edition Air Force 1s for a few of the best teams – Mexico, Brazil, USA, Portugal, Korea, and Holland. These colorful patent leather World Cup Air Force 1s are set to release in April.

In case you were unaware, 2006 marks New Balance’s 100th anniversary, and in celebration of this momentous occassion, New Balance has reached out to some of the world’s best designers to create some limited edition anniversary shoes. The latest pair are these beautiful ‘Made in England’ New Balance 1500s by La MJC and Colette.
The white, black, and purple patent leather and suede 1500s will be released exclusively at Colette in Paris on February 27, 2006 at the opening of their “UK, Jack OK!” exhibit. Only 96 pairs exist.

The 2nd Series from Vans Syndicate will be dropping later on this year – with Hemp Half-Cabs, Ballistic Nylon Sk8-His, Jaquard (think checkerboard) Old Skools, and premium suede Chukkas with embriordery by Japanese artist Taka Hayashi. The Sk8-His come with a matching bag!
Syndicate is distributed to around 100 accounts world wide. They are not a limited edition thing, however they are limited to those who understand.

Spring/Summer ‘06 is Silas’ third season of designing and producing footwear. For this season, they will have 3 models, Rene, Patrick and Albert, coming out. Each model is limited to approximately 250 pairs.

The Zoom Kobe I event was held at Houston in a club called Next. There was an iD station for people to customize their own exclusive Zoom Kobe I that is currently not available online. In addition, Nike also showcased the Air Zoom Huarache 2K4, the Air Zoom Huarache 2K5 and the Zoom Kobe I.
