We’ve just received a few samples of New Balance UK’s Spring/Summer 2007 range. These aren’t the ordinary New Balance’s a lot of you have seen lately. For a total makeover, these New Balances have been carefully produced with original concepts of material, colors, and designs. Brazilian artist Falvio Samelo was recently commissioned to design this Nike SB Dunk Low. For those that don’t know, Flavio Samelo is well known for his photographs in the skateboard world. Limited to only 400 pairs, these kicks were designed to resemble the colors of a film. Check out the little logo on the heel – it’s a camera. Also these kicks were only released in Brazil, so good luck in finding these.

The 6th issue of Faesthetic is now available for purchase online at their website. For Faesthetic #6 all 160 pages of the issue is in black & white containing photographs, graffiti, and illustrations. The issue is one big book on the theme of Love and Death with its cover designed by Friends with You. Also only 500 collectors editions will be available with posters, bookmarks, and stickers, by artists such as Maya Hayuk, MOMO, Ben Loiz, and Bearbury. American artist DZINE is now exhibiting his artwork at the SCAI Bathhouse in Toyko. The installation, called “Stealing Dreams” is a turntable motif exhibit that uses plastic coatings and glass beads for a visually stunning effect on the art works produced. Also, music is provided by producer Hiroshi Fujiwara giving this experimental exhibition it’s own artistic environment. “Stealing Dreams†continues through Saturday, December 9, 2006.
