Known as the 4th member of the Beastie Boys, Ricky Powell, is an all city New Yorker. Ricky Powell is a street photographer, has a column in Mass Appeal Magazine, and even has his own shoe by JB Classics. Crowned “the Weegee of hiphop” by Fab 5 Freddy, Ricky Powell is one with the people. After over 20 years in the game, he is celebrating and commemorating with his new book Public Access. Our friend Jasmin Tsou got live with the Rickster to chat photos, his new book, and why today’s NYC is so dam corny.
